Yeshiva University – MA, MS, and Rabbinic Ordination
Originally from West Hempstead New York, Rabbi Shua Brick is a Wexner Graduate Fellow who received Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshiva University, where he attended high school and undergrad, as well as pursued a dual masters in Jewish Philosophy (MA) and Jewish Education (MS). In love with experiential education and summer camp, he has been on the educational staff at Camps Dora Golding, Ya’alozu, I.O., Stone, Wildrose, and Nageela, always looking for new and exciting challenges. In high school he trained as a hospital clown and served missions to Germany and Israel, a hobby he kept during his two and a half years studying in the Old City of Jerusalem at Yeshivat Hakotel.
Previously the Rabbinic Intern at the Jewish Center of Manhattan and Executive Communications Manager for the Office of the President of Yeshiva University, Shua moved to the Bay Area in 2020. Shua joins the Beth Jacob Congregation of Oakland as Director of Family Learning in addition to his work with the JCHS community.
